Joel Prieto is a regional winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and has also won first prize in Plácido Domingo’s 2008 Operalia competition for best male singer and zarzuela performance. The Spanish-born tenor was raised in Puerto Rico and studied at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.

Ukrainian-born Alexander Tsymbalyuk has won numerous awards including “The XIII International Competition of Young Opera Singers Riccardo Zandonai” and “The XIII International Tchaikovsky Competition” Moscow (2007). In concert he has appeared at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino where he made his Verdi Requiem debut under the baton of Zubin Mehta. He has future engagements at the Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen and he makes his debut at the Metropolitan Opera, New York.
