RSS

What is RSS?

RSS Feeds allow you to automatically find out when fresh content has been added to a certain website. You can view the latest headlines and articles as soon as they are published. They are delivered straight to your computer by something called a RSS reader (also known as a news reader or aggregator) that automatically searches websites for updated feeds.

Where can I get a News Reader?

There are many free, web-based readers. Some are accessed using a browser, and some are downloadable applications. Browser-based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer with internet access, whereas downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer.

How do i subscribe to a feed?

Most sites use the orange RSS button, others may just have a text link. Click on this button and either drag the url of your RSS feed into your reader, or copy and paste it.
