Rosenblatt Recitals

Rosenblatt Recitals moves beyond the concert hall to the screen this summer as Sky Arts broadcasts four recitals from the 2012-13 season every Monday evening between 15 July and 5 August.

Rosenblatt Recitals on Sky Arts 2 HD starts with acclaimed American tenor Lawrence Brownlee on Monday 15th July, 8pm, followed each consecutive Monday by Spanish tenor Joel Prieto (22 July), Greek soprano Dimitra Theodossiou (29 July) and Sicilian tenor Antonino Siragusa (5 August).

Not only is this a rare opportunity to watch song recitals on television, but presenter Suzy Klein also brings extraordinary depth and context to the performances through interviews with the artists about their choice of repertoire and their approach to the art of singing.

Ian Rosenblatt announces inaugural Branscombe Festival 2013

The stunning Devonshire village of Branscombe will play host to the first ever Branscombe Festival from Friday 26 – Sunday 28 July.

Over three days the Branscombe Festival will present performances from some of the leading international classical musicians, including stars of the Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House lyric soprano Ailyn Pérez and tenor Stephen Costello, the young cellist Philip Higham, the Carducci Quartet and celebrated jazz ensemble The Leo Green Experience, culminating with a free concert from the Trelights Brass Quintet on Branscombe beach.

The festival is curated by renowned pianist Iain Burnside and hosted by BBC Radio 3 broadcaster and journalist Petroc Trelawny.
